I paint because I needed a language for the things that precision could not hold. I am an aerospace engineer by profession, and I love that world, the rigour of it, the way a complex system, when everything is right, simply works. But there has always been another part of me that lives in colour and texture and the long silence of a studio afternoon, a part that knows things it cannot calculate or prove, things it can only express.

My paintings are portraits of women in their inner worlds. Women with closed eyes, not retreating, but fully present inside themselves. Women who carry strength and softness at the same time, intellect and emotion, ambition and stillness, all of it existing together without apology. I paint them because I recognise them. Because I am one of them. And because I have come to believe that the most powerful thing a woman can do is stop editing herself down to the version the world finds easiest to hold.

Every painting I make belongs to a larger world I have been building across the years, a body of work I call Limitless Women. It is my way of saying, quietly but with everything I have, that a woman does not have to choose between her lives. She can be many things. She already is.
