Echoes of Her Presence reflects a kind of strength that does not rely on visibility or performance.
The woman in the painting does not demand attention. Her eyes are closed, not as a retreat, but as a sign of presence. She feels fully grounded in herself, steady within the environment around her rather than standing apart from it. The textures and colours of the painting do not simply surround her; they feel as though they are part of the same breath, the same quiet energy that holds everything together.

Each of my paintings is created through layers of mixed media, allowing colour, texture, and mark making to evolve naturally over time. I work intuitively, responding to what the painting begins to reveal rather than forcing it into a predetermined outcome.
Because of this layered process, every piece carries subtle details that continue to reveal themselves over time.
